About Citizen Advocacy

Citizen Advocacy of Chester County is a community-based, non-profit organization that recruits, matches and offers support to local citizens involved in citizen advocacy relationships. It was founded by a group of dedicated community members in 1979. The people who now form the governing Board of Directors assist our two coordinators with the work of initiating and supporting these relationships.

Currently there are over 45 relationships active in our communities. Many of these relationships have continued for many years, and the longest standing relationship is now over 20 years old.

Citizen Advocacy of Chester County is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. It is governed by a board of directors and audited annually by Herbein & Co., Reading, PA. If you would like a copy of our audit or annual report, please contact us.
